International Women’s Day
Today, we celebrate International Women’s Day. As a female competing in what has been, and still is, a largely male-dominated sport, Nicole Havrda says that she’s proud to have benefited from the path made by strong, trailblazing women, such as Janet Guthrie, Lyn St. James (pictured with Nicole), Susie Wolff, Danica Patrick, and others.
“Thankfully, we are now in a climate where girls can freely choose and pursue our dreams,” she said.
