Nicole Havrda: 2023 Formula Pro USA Champion!

Following a successful FR Americas outing in Virginia, Nicole Havrda and her team made their way across the United States to Sonoma, California for the final Formula Pro USA weekend of the season.

With a field of eighteen drivers, the weekend started well, with Nicole qualifying an excellent third.

The first race saw Nicole quickly move to second place. However, on lap three disaster struck The failure Nicole had suffered in Virginia once again reared its head and Nicole was out of the race.

For the weekend’s final race, Nicole was forced to take a more cautious approach, to ensure the same failure would not occur again. Even so, Nicole was able to draw away from her nearest competitor, finishing an excellent second, and becoming the first female Formula Pro USA champion.

Nicole was ecstatic, saying, “I am so happy! This is what we’ve been working towards all of 2023. At the start of the year, if you’d told I’d be the champion, I’d never have believed you.

“I can’t image a better team to have won the championship with. With all our ups and downs, we won it! Thank you to the whole Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport team!
