Nicole Havrda rejoined the Formula Regional Americas series this weekend in Virginia. Although she did suffer one small setback, overall it was a successful weekend for the Vancouver Island native.
The setback was caused by a mechanical failure in Saturday’s race, caused by the curbs at the scenic Virginia venue. Unfortunately, the curbs caused problems for several competitors, not just NIcole.
However, she rallied in the weekend’s final race, to finish an excellent fifth in only her second FR Americas event. On top of that, she had the most passes of the weekend.
“In the past two races in FR I’ve learned so much,” she enthused.
“I can’t thank everyone enough, including my amazing parents and family, Kiwi Motorsport, and my sponsors.”
