Nicole Havrda Delivers in IMSA Debut

Making her debut in IMSA competition, Nicole Havrda arrived at the famous Sebring Raceway filled with excitement and anticipation for her first race in the series. Practice 1 was approached methodically, focusing on bedding in both car and driver, before handing over to her co-driver. By Practice 2, she had built confidence and pace, knowing there was still more to extract.

Qualifying presented a new challenge, with a damp, drying track creating tricky conditions. Taking a cautious approach, she balanced speed while taking fewer risks, determined to keep the car clean for race day.

Starting the race in P7, she quickly found her rhythm, delivering a confident and composed drive. She executed two decisive overtakes at the notoriously bumpy Sunset Bend, showcasing both bravery and precision.

In a standout performance, she climbed to the race lead before handing the car to her co-driver, Travis Hill. Despite a late-race issue, the duo fought on to secure a strong P5 finish.

After the race, Nicole said, “It’s weird to say, but this is the happiest I’ve ever been in a race car. TWOth Autosport makes me feel exactly how I should in a car, happy and excited.”

It was a weekend of growth, enjoyment, and valuable lessons – laying a solid foundation for the season ahead.
