No Time for Jet Lag as Nicole Prepares for NOLA
Nicole Havrda has barely had time to reflect on her Shanghai F1 Academy weekend Just hours after the chequered flag fell on an action-packed race weekend, she was already packing her bags and preparing for the next chapter of her racing season.
With the Shanghai event now behind her, Havrda is jetting half-way around the world for the Formula Regional Americas season opener in New Orleans. Despite the quick turnaround, the young driver’s determination remains unwavering as she heads across the globe to compete once more at the highest level.
“I know I’m going to be jet-lagged. But our limited budget means I’m flying on the cheapest flights possible, and using the metro, instead of taking a helicopter to the [Shanghai] track,” she said only half- jokingly.
“On top of that, I just found out that Sunday’s crash in Shanghai wrote off the chassis. I’m definitely on the hunt for sponsorship partners. And it’s only race one!”
Havrda’s ability to transition from one major event to the next, and her determination to continue despite obstacles, highlights her resilience and commitment to her racing career. The upcoming race in New Orleans will be another opportunity for her to prove herself in Formula Regional Americas.
