Nicole Havrda Shifts Up Toward Montreal
Following the excitement of the F1 Academy event in Miami, Nicole Havrda flew to Europe for successful testing and simulator sessions. The Canadian is now preparing for one of the most significant moments of her 2025 season: her highly anticipated home race in Montreal as part of the prestigious F1 Academy series.
Recognized globally as a premier development platform for emerging talent in motorsport, F1 Academy is proving instrumental in Nicole’s rapid ascent through the ranks. With the season heating up, the coming weeks are critical as she focuses on refining her performance and building momentum.
“As a Canadian, racing in Montreal is incredibly meaningful to me,” said Havrda. “It’s a dream to compete at home, and I’m putting everything into making it a strong performance.”
In order to fully concentrate on her F1 Academy campaign and manage financial constraints, Nicole has made the difficult decision to pause her participation in the FR Americas Championship.
“I’m really sad to not be able to continue with FR [Americas], because I love the series,” Nicole shared. “However, it costs money — which we don’t have, right now.”
Despite this setback, Nicole remains fully committed to her path in international motorsport. Her focus is sharper than ever, and her resolve is undiminished as she continues her journey toward the highest levels of racing.
As she heads into her home race weekend, all eyes will be on Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, where Nicole aims to deliver a powerful performance in front of Canadian fans and supporters.
